The BirdDog
P400 offers 10-bit NDI in astonishing 4K resolution with chroma
subsampling in 4:2:0 or 4:2:2. The P400 comes with professional-quality
colour capabilities such as Color Matrix control, Black level, and Gamma
with 512 pre-set gamma settings. The P400 introduces the world's first
4K 10-bit NDI with complete I-Frame chroma subsampling at 4:2:2 that can
be decoded natively in hardware by BirdDog's 4K Family of NDI Encoders
and Decoders. If using an 8-bit 4:2:0 receiver, the stream will
automatically offer 8-bit 4:2:0, which will be decoded. Consider it a
virtual and automated handshake.
